With reinforced insulation for a 250V AC working voltage and 5kV AC input to output isolation, the 8mm creepage and clearance meets IEC 60601-1 requirements. In addition, a leakage current of 2µA helps designers meet the lowest limits for medical devices, including the 0.3mA maximum specified in North American UL 60601-1.
Supplied in a DIP24 package and featuring an industry standard pin out, the parts have input-voltage ranges of 2:1 or 4:1 and a choice of regulated output voltages from 3.3V to 24V. Single or dual output versions are offered in each power rating and conversion efficiency is said to be up to 89%.
