Digital step attenuator supports operation at 8GHz
Peregrine Semiconductor has expanded its range of high frequency products to include a 7bit digital step attenuator (DSA).
The PE43704 supports monotonic operation at 8GHz, with high power handling of 28dBm. The UltraCMOS based device features HaRP technology, which the company says results in high linearity of IIP3 of 61dBm at 8GHz.
The DSA is suitable for high frequency and high-power applications in the test and measurement market, including automatic test equipment, signal sources, spectrum analysers and communication testers.
