Drop in replacements for inefficient linears
Powersolve's series of 1A switching regulators are designed to be drop in replacements for inefficient 78XX series linear regulators.
Manufactured by Tracopower, the TSR-1 series consists of nine models offering 4.75 to 32VDC input ranges and output voltages of 1.5 to 15VDC at 1A output current.
Efficiency levels up to 96% allow full load operation up to 60°C ambient temperature without the need for a heatsink or forced cooling.
The wide input voltage range allows direct operation from a 24VDC bus voltage while high efficiency and low stand by power consumption make the regulators suitable for battery powered applications.
