High current connector module provides safe dissipation of stray currents
Harting has expanded its Han series with the addition of the HC Modular 250 PE. The high current contact is designed to provide safe dissipation of stray currents in applications where the protection function is implemented with pluggable protective earth conductors.
The device is being offered as an alternative to a power contact in the Han HC Modular 250 mounting frame. It has a flexible configuration and arrangement, which is said to make coding possible.
As well as being vibration proof, the device offers low contact resistances between hood and housing. It supports crimping in accordance with DIN EN 46235 and is compatible with the company's existing HC 250 holding frame.
