Available in a 20pin, 3 x 3mm QFN package, the device features pin selectable output voltage, switching frequency and current limit settings, which is said to improve design flexibility, and eliminate multiple external components.
The MIC24046-H operates over a input voltage range of 4.5 to 19V suiting it to distributed 12V point-of-load applications. Output voltage can be selected from 0.7 to 3.3V via nine different settings and device has a ±1% VOUT accuracy setting from 0.7 to 1.2V.
Other features include internal soft-start, safe pre-biased start-up and thermal shutdown. The device has a junction temperature range of -40 to 125°C.
