High power density LDO specified up to 150°C
Linear Technology has introduced a wider temperature range version of the LT1965, a 1A LDO with high power density.
Specified to work up to 150°C, the new H grade ic offers low dropout voltage (300mV) at full load, wide VIN capability of 1.8 to 20V and an adjustable output from 1.2 to 19.5V.
In addition, the module promises to deliver a low output noise of 40µVRMS, reducing noise in instrumentation, rf, dsp and logic supply systems, as well as post regulating switching power supplies.
Linear says the device's low quiescent current of 500µA (operating) and less than 1µA (shutdown) make it a strong choice for applications requiring high output drive capability with low current consumption.
