Large area industrial displays feature Intel core processors

Optimised to be used in harsh environments, DSM Computer's new large area ABLE industrial display systems are designed to protect against dust and spray water in accordance with the IP44 degree of protection.
The displays are available in three variants with screen diagonal sizes of 140cm (55in), 119cm (47in) and 107cm (42in). Applications range from process visualisation in factories, industrial automation as well as digital signage.
The systems are controlled with an integrated industrial mini-ITX board based on the Intel Core i5-2510E processor with two cpu cores (2.5GHz). The Intel HD3000 graphic chip supports full hd resolution and the DDR3 ram memory can be expanded to 8gb.
The tft monitors have an anti reflection screen made of laminated safety glass and a high brightness up to 700cd/m² makes them suitable for daylight conditions. The systems are installed in an anthracite coloured industrial housing and feature a large viewing angle of 176° and contrast up to 6000:1.
In addition to the hdmi, DVI-I, and DVI-D display interfaces for the connection of a second monitor, the displays provide eight usb 2.0 (four external, four internal) and two external usb 3.0 ports.
