Three e-Paper display modules are available initially, these include a monochrome 13.3-inch display, a colour 25.3-inch display and a monochrome 31.2-inch display.

The display modules employ the latest e-Paper technology that provide energy efficient, paper-like features and can be powered by a lithium battery. Power consumption is less than 0.01 watts when the display image is static, and less than 3.5 watts when the display image is being updated.

The e-Paper display modules operate in reflective mode by reflecting ambient light and can operate in bright sunlight without any impact on the user viewing experience. Display images and content can be easily seen and viewed from a wide viewing area.

The three large format display modules offer the following specifications:

  • the monochrome 13.3-inch display module features a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, a 4:3 aspect ratio, and 178°/178° degree (up/down, left/right) viewing angles.
  • a four-colour 25.3-inch display has a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, and 178°/178° viewing angles. When used with dynamic voltage control, the four colours, yellow, white, magenta and cyan can combine to create a colour palette of up to 60,000 colours.
  • a monochrome 31.2-inch, with a resolution of 2562 x 1440 pixels, a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, and 178°/178° viewing angles.

The fully integrated display modules feature built-in hardware peripherals to support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G to enable remote updating and ease of maintenance. Built-in mechanical mounting features enable ease of design and fast installation. Weatherproof mechanical enclosures support an IP65 rating which enables reliable outdoor use even in wet environmental conditions.

The optical and operating features of the large format e-Paper displays are ideal for digital signage applications such public information terminals, retail signage and public transport systems.
