According to the supplier the part supports a data rate of 15Mbit/s, which suits it to serial and field bus interface isolation in industrial applications, including data transmission for line receivers, datamultiplexing, switching power supplies, pulse transformer replacement, computer peripheral interface and high speed logic ground isolation.
Its common mode rejection is more than 10,000V/us to provide better protection against interference, while Everlight says the EL071L has a common mode transient immunity of at least 10kV/µs. The part is guaranteed to work in temperatures ranging from -40 to 110°C and features an isolation rating between input and output of 3750V rms.
