LTCC filter supports TI CC112x transceiver series
Believed to be the smallest filter available, the LFD21868MMF from Murata is targeted at sub-1GHz wireless applications using the CC112x series of low power transceivers from Texas Instruments.
Measuring just 2.00 x 1.25 x 0.7mm, the miniature LTCC (low temperature co-fired ceramic) surface mounted filter has a nominal operating frequency centred on 891.50MHz +/- 23.50MHz and can accommodate up to 500mW transmit power output.
Compared with a traditional inductor and capacitor design, Murata says the filter module replaces more than 10 discrete components.
Insertion loss is rated at 1.73dB transmit and 2.67dB receive. The antenna port matches to a nominal impedance of 50Ohm.
