The first announcement was its CryptoCore – an embedded-cryptography suite to help manage IoT devices securely.
The CryptoCore software libraries are managed through HCC’s Embedded Encryption Manager, making it portable and enabling use of the libraries or hardware-accelerated algorithms on chips that provide them.
The second release was an embedded Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) framework to support secure wireless connections for embedded devices.
HCC believes its EAP will provide developers with a secure way to ensure industrial, medical and transport IoT devices that join a wireless network are authenticated.
