According to the company, the new SENCITY OMNI-S will find application across many areas including industrial wireless and M2M communications, WiFi offload, carrier grade WiFi as well as WiFi hotspots and small cells.
Depending on the application, the SENCITY OMNI-S antenna can be equipped with up to four ports which allows for a wide variety of configurations – from a single port 2.4/5GHz antenna up to a 4x4 WiFi MIMO multi-port antenna.
The new OMNI-S antenna has been specifically designed for use in harsh environments and mounted on street cabinets, distribution boxes and many types of industrial vehicles. It meets EN60068 and features protection to IP69K and its unobtrusive low profile prevents accidental damage and deters vandalism.
The SENCITY OMNI-S antenna has a tool-free, single hole mount design intended to make installation quick and straightforward. Furthermore, applications flexibility is enhanced thanks to a range of options including selectable wireless bands, radome colour, sealing method, cable length and connector type.
