Three compact DIP8 packaged photorelays from Toshiba Electronics Europe are intended to replace mechanical relays in industrial applications. The devices, which support a 5A drive current – are targeted at applications ranging from heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to inverters, PLCs and automated test equipment.
The TLP3547 is a 60V product with a 5A large drive current. The TLP3548 is a 400V product with a 0.4A drive current that offers 1ms switching, while the 600V TLP3549 is said to be the photorelay to use a DTMOS MOSFET to deliver a 0.6A drive current.
All three photorelays have a minimum isolation voltage rating of 2500V rms.
