The MIC45404 – a 19V, 5A buck converter – is supplied in a thermally enhanced package measuring 10 x 6 x 2mm that incorporates controller, MOSFETs, feedback path and a PWM switching regulator. Within the package, says the supplier, is one of the thinnest integrated magnetic inductors available in such a device.
The device also features pin selectable output voltages, switching frequencies and current limits.
