The EIRE300 delivers 300 Watts of power in a compact 4” x 2” open-frame design, with an ultra-low 1” profile. Built to maximise both power density and efficiency, this high-performance solution is intended for applications where space is limited, but reliability and efficiency are paramount.
The EIRE300 series offers a best-in-class power density exceeding 37.5W per cubic inch and an efficiency rating of up to 95%. This level of performance minimises energy waste, reducing operating costs and contributing to lower environmental impact.
Additionally, with peak output reaching 375W for short bursts and convection-cooled ratings of 200W (at 115VAC), the EIRE300 series is designed for flexibility across a wide range of applications.
The EIRE300 series was designed to meet 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) standards and BF-rating for direct contact applications, it’s suitable for use in sensitive medical equipment, including surgical and critical care devices. Low leakage currents and advanced safety protections ensure that this series is also suitable for environments where patient safety is paramount.
Additional features include internal dual line fusing, remote sensing, and an AC_OK signal, adding another layer of versatility and ease of integration for system designers.
The EIRE300 series offers a wide selection of output voltages, ranging from 12V to 60V, with standard configurations at 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V, and 54V. Each output voltage is adjustable within a broad range to accommodate specific needs, making it adaptable for specialised applications with non-standard voltage requirements. Each unit includes comprehensive over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protections, making it resilient under challenging operational conditions.
The series is designed for a variety of operating environments and is compliant with EMC Class B standards for conducted and radiated emissions. With support for both Class I and Class II equipment and an operational altitude of up to 5000 meters, the EIRE300 meets international standards, including 60601-1 and 62368-1 for medical and ITE applications, 60335-1 for household appliances, 61010-1 for measurement and laboratory equipment, and 61558-1 for power transformer safety.
To ensure durability and long-term performance, the EIRE300 features ultra long-life electrolytic capacitors and conformal coating as standard, offering protection against dust, moisture, and other environmental contaminants. Its design also significantly reduces heat output, allowing for a wide operational temperature range from -40°C to +70°C and it has an estimated MTBF of over 500,000 hours.
