The LT3088 achieves line and load regulation of less than 2mV, independent of output voltage, and features an input voltage range from 1.2V to 36V. Its 50µA reference current source allows a single resistor to program output voltage to any level between 0 and 34.5V. The device is stable with or without input and output capacitors.
Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery and reverse-current protection, current limiting and thermal limiting. The LT3088 is offered in the three lead SOT-223, three lead DD-Pak, and an eight lead 3 × 3mm DFN package.
A variety of grades and temperature ranges are available including: E and I grades -40 to 125°C, high reliability H grade -40 to 150°C and the military MP grade -55 to 150°C.
