Schroff expands Zonex range of stainless steel wall mount enclosures
Schroff has added 21 new models to its Zonex range of stainless steel wall mount enclosures, which are ATEX certified for housing electronic or electrical equipment in zone 1 and zone 2 hazardous locations.
The new enclosures comprise hinge cover versions in 16 standard sizes from 12 x 12 x 6 to 36 x 24 x 8in, as well as five small screw cover models ranging in size from 4 x 4 x 3 to 10 x 10 x 5in.
Schroff says that all Zonex products carry both European ATEX and international IECEx certification, with the hinge cover models also certified to the American AEx standard. The enclosures are fabricated from type 316 stainless steel and feature one piece continuous gaskets and brass internal and external earthing points.
The hinge cover versions are supplied with a full size gasketed gland plate, welded on wall mounting brackets and a quarter turn latch with 3mm double bit insert for enhanced security. Available accessories include panels, breather drains, stopping plugs and extra gland plates.
