Available from Switchtec, the connectors use a spring clamp to grip the wire. In use, a push button is depressed using a screwdriver, the bare wire conductor is inserted and the button released. This produces a 'calibrated' grip force on the wire.
The products are available from 2 to 24 way variants and with pitches of 3.5, 3.81, 5 and 5.08mm. Ratings of up to 10A, 300V AC can be supplied and the mating PCB headers are available in vertical, horizontal and angled types with open or closed ends.
