TDK adds 800W models to Z+ series of programmable power supplies
TDK-Lambda has extended its Z+ family of programmable dc power supplies to include a new higher power range.
The 800W programmable power supplies in the Z+800 series offer the same features as the lower power Z+400 and Z+200 ranges and also address the need for high quality bench top power supplies for the R&D environment.
Models in the 800W Z+ series are available with output voltages up to 100Vdc and output currents up to 72A. The units can operate in either constant current or constant voltage modes and accept a universal (85 to 265Vac) input.
Higher power systems can be achieved by connecting up to six identical units in parallel with active current sharing. To increase the output voltage or to provide a bipolar output, up to two units may be connected in series.
