The latest camera in the series to be upgraded is the Tera-1024 which has been given a linear face-lift and is supplied with a modified version of TeraSense Viewer software, designed to support THz scanning procedure. Its specially configured sensor array is designed to satisfy specific needs in THz-imaging for quality control, non-destructive testing and similar applications, including machine vision technology.
The imager measures 441 x 78 x 44mm and features responsivity of up to 50kV/W with read-out circuitry and noise equivalent power 1nW/Hz^0.5 in the frequency range 10GHz to 1THz. The Tera-1024 operates over a temperature range of 10 to 40°C
TeraSense says it will introduce product ranges in future, starting with high-speed linear Terahertz cameras and cameras suitable for FDS and TDS systems.
