These Rugged+ modules have been designed to provide reliable and consistent operation under conditions found in harsh environment and industrial applications. The use of IPS technology enables colour saturation, deep black levels and viewing angles of up to 170° in all directions (left/right, up/down).
A contrast ratio of 900:1 and a backlight brightness rating of 600cd/m² ensures consistent colour image reproduction. The white LED backlight provides a specified 70K hours to 50% brightness lifetime. A 50pin CMOS interface supports 8bit RGB data which enables a colour palette of up to 16.7 million colours.
Featuring a fully enclosed metal bezel with integrated mounting fixtures, the module has a mechanical outline of 66 x 89 x 10mm and an active display area of 53 x 71mm. Operation in extreme temperature environments is guaranteed with an operating temperature range of -30 to 85°C and storage temperature range of -40 to 90°C. The Rugged+ module has also been designed to be highly resistant to ESD, mechanical shock and vibration.
