Aimed at a variety of applications, including industrial and communications, the company has added three 48V input nominal modules to the 36 to 75V range. The modules come in a 3414 VIA package measuring 3.38 x 1.40 x 0.37in and have output voltages of 12, 24, and 48V, with power levels of 320W – achieving a power density of up to 183W/in3.
The DCMs are said to offer power system engineers a better ‘brick’ with their enhanced functional integration by incorporating EMI filtering, transient protection, inrush current limiting, and a secondary referenced control interface for trim, enable and remote sensing. Configurations are available for both on board mounting and for chassis mounting.
The modules are also up to 93% power efficient with integrated heat sink and operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 100°C C grade; -40 to +100°C T grade; as well as -55 to +100°C M grade.
