ZETA is expected to be used in sensor networks, sleepy nodes, telemetry and control applications, and other IOT applications.
The module has a small, high performance RFIC with a link budget is of 134dBm. It is said to have achieved a range in excess of 2km in testing.
With an area of 16mm2, the ZETA is compact, and available in PDIP and SMT formats.
The ZETA can be partnered with an RF CODEC chipset which pre-configures the ZETA module and provides an industry standard SPI interface. Engineers can use the chipset to create networks of ZETA modules, or point-to-point links, without the need for extensive RF expertise or register configuration, using a minimal and simple command set.
