Review Display Systems Ltd have recently introduced a range of industrial motherboards utilising the latest Intel ® QM77/HM76 chipsets, manufactured by AAeon in Taiwan these boards are available in the standard Mini ITX format as well as the even more compact 3.5 inch sub-compact size.
The Gene-QM77 is a feature rich compact industrial PC measuring just 146x 100mm.
The Gene-QM77 is a feature rich compact industrial PC capable of running Intel's 3rd generation Core™ i7/i5and i3 mobile processors. The compact module is ideal for applications where processing power is required and space is at a premium and the PC measures just 146mm x 101mm.
The board supports up to 8 GB of system memory, has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two 24 bit dual-channel LVDS connections plus a DVI output. Additional useful industrial features include; two SATA 6.0gb/s ports with optional RAID configuration, Cfast™ support, 3x USB3.0 ports, 6x USB2.0 ports plus 4x COM ports, on board resistive touch screen controller and 2Ch HD audio.
The board also supports expansion via a Mini Card, and supports iAMT with the Intel® QM77 for control when the board is operated from a remote location.
The board runs from a 12 Vdc and has an operating temperature range of 0ºC- 60ºC. For applications where more space is available then the EMB-QM77 board might be a more powerful option as this supports Intel's 3rd Generation Core™i7/i5 Celeron® Quad Core/ Dual Core Processors. Memory support is up to 16GB and there is even a triple display version with Dual 24 bit LVDS and two DisplayPort™ connections.
