Embedded computing technology
A wide range of processing architectures and performance are available, ranging from low level microprocessor-based options, including ARM and other RISC-based CPU options, and x86 based performance alternatives. The range of embedded computing solutions includes low power SBCs, ultra-compact system-on-modules, and embedded system controllers all supporting a wide range of processor options.
Box and Panel PC solutions
Panel PC and Boxer systems are available from leading global suppliers AAEON and Kontron. Options include standard off-the-shelf, custom modified or fully bespoke designs. Application specific features include IP rating support, wide temperature operation, active and fanless cooling options. RDS has also developed and manufactured its own in-house range of fully configurable, industrial specification CATs Mini-ITX PCs. Additional products include rugged handheld tablet computers and AI-based vision systems.
