Rugged OpenVPX System Enclosure
The Emerson Network Power VPX3000 is a system-level OpenVPX fanless enclosure designed to minimize size, weight and power (SWaP) for military, aerospace, commercial and other High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) applications.
It includes a configurable I/O Adapter Board (IAB) that routes I/O from the payload blades to the front of the enclosure. The Emerson VPX3000 accepts up to three 3U conduction cooled OpenVPX modules. Rugged and commercial specification variants are available.
The Emerson Network Power KR8-VPX-3-6-1 is designed primarily for development, testing and lab duties. It can also be deployed in ground benign installations as it meets Emerson's standard safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and environmental requirements.
The Emerson KR8-VPX-3-6-1 OpenVPX system chassis accommodates up to five 3U VPX payload blades and associated rear transition modules (RTMs). It is designed to simplify the development of next-generation applications with a range of features including removable side panels for module debugging, AC power input with standard IEC inlet and a top mounted handle that makes it easier for users to move the enclosure.
New OpenVPX Board for Intelligent Systems
