GPEG’s 3.5 inch HVGA TFT LCD module has ‘multitouch’ PCT

The built in LED backlight is rated at 30k hours and produces an on screen brightness of 350 nit with a high contrast ratio of 800:1. Interface options include LVDS and RGB; both these versions include a built-in LED driver further simplifying the integration of this module into a wide variety of applications. The display is also available with a Projective Capacitive Touch Screen (PCT) this allows designers to emulate the functionality of current consumer products such as tablet PC's and mobile phones into their latest products. Available in single or multitouch versions the touch screen allows for 'gesturing' functions such as 'pinching' – zoom out, 'stretching' – zoom in and 'swipe' – left, right, up and down. The PCT has a high impact resistance (3H) and will work with a gloved hand. Light transmission is typically 88% with a positional accuracy of better than 1%.
