The M700D can withstand a 4-ft drop, and has IP65 sealing rendering it dustproof and able to handle low pressure water jets from all directions. The tablet can operate in a -10 to 50 degrees C temperature range. The multi touch display has 500 nits brightness and is powered by a 1.6GHz Dual-Core Intel Atom N2600 processor capable of running Windows 7. Standard RAM is 2GB, and can be upgraded to 4GB. Mass storage comes in the form of a SSD from 32-128 GB, plus a micro-SD card slot allows for extra storage and data transfer. The standard 16.8 watt-hour battery can be supplemented with an optional secondary 38.5 watt-hour battery to support up to 8 hours. The unit also boasts built-in WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS and camera and has optional 3G connectivity.
