Trichorial tie back
Engineers, it's fair to say, are not renowned for their sartorial elegance.
Wandering the halls at Embedded World last week only reinforced that opinion.
There was a whole range of what might be charitably called Fashion Disasters on show, ranging from the mismatched colours and clashing patterns to the awful jackets, shabby jeans and so on. The pony tail quotient also seemed to be higher.
But engineers are, if nothing else, practical – and one of those sporting a pony tail showed just how practical engineers can be. His pony tail was secured by a cable tie.
The one question remains: what's wrong with the good old elastic band?
