Arrow Electronics, Altera and Enterpoint are pleased to announce that we are hosting a day hands on workshop which shows how to implement a custom PCI Express design in the Cyclone IV GX FPGA.
The lecture session will cover general aspects of implementing PCI Express designs. It will examine the benefits, common problems and practical solutions to getting a custom PCIe design working in a Cyclone IV fpga. This session will also cover how to verify and debug PCIe designs, and useful tools for these processes.
The lab part of the training day will use the knowledge gained in the lecture session, convert that into building a real design and programming it into Enterpoint's Cyclone IV based Raggedstone3 development board. Attendees will also get to control the resultant design in Linux based host PC though a simple driver and GUI.
