Balancing the instrumentation power budget - a time for cuts or expenditure?

This workshop will seek to analyse the energy related instrumentation deployment challenges across a number of sectors and identify novel technologies which could be used to increase the power budget.
The objectives of these meetings will be to:
· Review the power budget needs across various sectors
· Showcase novel technologies and approaches to increase the deployment life span of an instrument
· Showcase ongoing and completed projects
· Provide a cost-effective exhibition space for instrumentation companies and academic with novel technologies
· Provide a forum for open debate and networking
