Silicon for Systems – Harwell

Worried about choosing the correct route to market for your system? Should you use standard components, an embedded microcontroller, an FPGA or an ASIC? Do you feel you don't have sufficient information to make a well informed decision and, as such, you may be compromising your final solution?

This workshop will present a set of arguments for several routes, with the goal of providing attendees with sufficient information to allow them to determine the best route to market for their system.

The event will be a useful forum for component distributors and system designers, with presentations covering: system design; component distribution; FPGA design; FPGA analysis and test; IC supply chain management; IC design; IC manufacturing; and IC encapsulation and test

Discussions will address what may start designers following a particular route and the pros and cons of each route.
