2010, record year for Intel
Intel has reported a record year with full year revenue reaching $43.6billion, operating income, $15.9bn and net income, $11.7bn up from $4.4bn in 2009. The company generated approximately $16.7bn in cash from operations, paid cash dividends of $3.5bn and used $1.5bn to repurchase 70million shares of common stock.
The company also reported a record fourth quarter, posting revenue of $11.5bn. It also reported fourth quarter operating income of $4.3bn and net income of $3.4bn.
Paul Otellini, Intel's president and ceo, said: "2010 was the best year in Intel's history. We believe that 2011 will be even better."
