The competition is being launched as part of a two day event being held at the University of Warwick between 28 and 29 November.
The Ipower2 workshop, taking place on the second day, aims to promote multi sector working in the field of power electronics to deliver innovative, practical solutions for a more cost effect, energy efficient future.
According to the TSB, the event will be focused around linking communities across sectors including energy, transport and materials, though the common ground of a competition in power electronics.
