ARM Cortex-M3 based mcus offered in 32pin packaging
Fujitsu has extended its ARM Cortex-M3 based microcontroller family to include new low pin count versions.
The MB9B120J series is the first in the FM3 family to feature 32pin packaging. LQFP and QFN package types are offered, with dimensions starting at 5 x 5mm.
The mcus include trimmed an on-chip RC oscillator and internal pull-up resistors, which Fujitsu says helps reduce the number of external components and the overall pcb footprint.
The series is available at operating speeds of up to 72MHz. Target applications include general use inverters and motors for low end industrial equipment, as well as household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines and induction cooking appliances.
For one to one motor to microcontroller system control, the multi-function timer includes a/d converter trigger configurations, pwm and a waveform generator with dead time insertion. The a/d converter features 12bit resolution and converts 1msample/s.
