In the development of the DECA board, Arrow Electronics has collaborated with Altera, Texas Instruments (TI), Silicon Labs, Micron, Molex and Cypress. DECA is a full-featured hardware evaluation board that is said to enable engineers to reduce board area, cost, and complexity while interfacing to a variety of sensors and interfaces. The board features temperature and humidity, signal chain, audio, and logic integrated circuits from TI.
“The DECA board is the result of successful cooperation among several Arrow collaborators. It is innovative, practical and will simplify the design process for engineers,” said Chakib Loucif, vice president of engineering for Arrow Electronics. “DECA includes a comprehensive portfolio of technologies including Altera FPGA, a variety of sensors and communication protocols, enabling customers to fast track proof of concepts for their IoT applications.”
