Bloodhound: “We want design engineers”

The Bloodhound ssc, powered by a jet engine and rocket, is being built in a bid to break the FIA world land speed record. However, its developers warn that its rapid expansion from the research and design stage is necessitating a need for more engineers. In a statement, Bloodhound said: "We are looking specifically looking for support in mechanical and composite design, stress analysis and detailing. This is a great opportunity to work on a rewarding project, to work with a group of talented people, to feel the satisfaction when you come up with a solution for a problem that's never existed before … and the view from the office overlooking Bristol Harbour is also pretty good too!" Bloodhound states that this isn't an offer for an internship or a training programme, but an opportunity for design engineers with passion and enthusiasm to work on a unique project.
