CamSemi founder wins Silver Medal from Royal Academy of Engineering
Professor Florin Udrea – a co founder of CamSemi – has been awarded a Silver Medal from The Royal Academy of Engineering for his work in commercialising cost efficient power management ics and other devices.
As well as his role at CamSemi, Professor Udrea is a founder and ceo of Cambridge CMOS Sensors and leads the High Voltage Microelectronics group at the University of Cambridge. He co founded CamSemi with Professor Gehan Amaratunga, who was elected a fellow of the Academy in 2004 and awarded its Silver Medal in 2007.
