A software integrity centre has been launched in a bid to help companies reduce product failures and recalls caused by software problems.
The Coverity Integrity Centre is designed to provide a set of precision software analysis products in a single offer. This combination allows customers to identify and eliminate the root cause of problems during the design, code, build and test phases software development.
Coverity's ceo, Seth Hallem, said: "We live in a world where the integrity of your business and competitive advantage is directly dependent on the integrity of your software. Our recent record quarter is evidence that companies worldwide are shifting their investments to driving integrity into the software that runs their products, systems and businesses. The launch of Coverity Integrity Centre marks the next stage of our software integrity strategy and enables customers to leverage the full power of all our software analysis capabilities."
Hallem claims that, as a result of the centre, organisations have so far documented an increase of 12.5% in developer productivity and a 30% reduction in field defects.
