DELTA signs semiconductor VAR deal with IBM
DELTA Microelectronics has signed a deal under which it will become a semiconductor value added reseller for IBM in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The move will provide its customers with access to IBM foundry technologies and post wafer production services, including turnkey and partial turnkey asic solutions, as well as IBM's leading edge technologies Delta says the combination will offer fabless companies, IDMs and system companies a 'complete and effective' route to market.
"We are very pleased to partner with IBM," said Delta director Per Ølund, Director of DELTA Microelectronics. "Our flexible GDSII to component production services will provide customers with a versatile path to access a range of solutions, based on IBM technologies, from prototyping to high volume component production."
