Dialog ic to power Samsung’s Galaxy Trend 3
Dialog Semiconductor's D2199 power management chip has been selected for use in the new Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 smartphone.
The ic is said to offer improved battery management, as well as high end audio functionality, in an ultra small footprint.
Jalal Bagherli, Dialog's ceo, commented: "This is the fourth Samsung platform win disclosed by Dialog, and the first of a series of products to be powered by the D2199, with additional products to be announced later this year.
"We are excited to continue to provide best in class power management and audio technology to drive further smartphone innovations and deliver an increasingly superior user experience for Samsung customers."
