Diodes to acquire Power Analog Microelectronics

The acquisition is expected to close in Q4 2012 and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed. "The acquisition of Power Analog Microelectronics will strengthen our position as a global provider of high quality analogue products by expanding Diodes' product portfolio with innovative 'filter less' digital audio amplifiers, application specific power management ics, as well as high performance led drivers and dc/dc converters," said Diodes president and ceo Dr Keh-Shew Lu.
