Embedded World: Lantronix announces industry's smallest serial device server
Lantronix is unveiling two new products at Embedded World, a new embedded serial device server – available in the smallest form factor on the market – and a new range of embedded Linux wireless device servers.
According to Lantronix, the range will add Wi-Fi to electronic devices along with the highest enterprise grade security and authentication protocols.
In addition, Lantronix is showcasing two products for the first time in Europe – the xPrintServer and EDS-MD. The xPrintServer is roughly the size of an iPhone, and is described as 'an easy to use hardware solution' that utilises the iOS native print menu and requires no additional applications, software downloads, or printer driver installations. The EDS-MD is designed specifically for the medical industry and provides remote access and management of virtually any electronic or medical device.
Lantronix is exhibiting in Hall 2, booth 2-206 and 2-420 at Embedded World, Nuremberg.
