Exclusive agreements for Farnell

Multichannel distributor Farnell has signed agreements with two passive component companies which it hopes will give customers exclusive access to the latest capacitor technology.
In the first of the agreements AVX granted Farnell a 12 month European distribution exclusive on five of its capacitor ranges encompassing around 270 new part numbers. The products included are the leaded AR SkycapTM series, RH leaded ceramics, TRJ tantalum chip capacitors, NPV CorecapTM surface mount tantalum multianode capacitors and TAW tantalum fuse capacitors.
The second agreement with Rubycon allowed Farnell to be its exclusive launch partner for the new PMLCAP series of polymer film chip capacitors. Uses for the PMLCAP series exist in applications such as DC/DC Converters, audio circuits, voltage regulator modules and bypass circuits.
