Fairchild opens auto design centre
Fairchild Semiconductor has expanded its Global Power Resource Centre with the addition of a facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sited close to the heart of the North American automotive market, the facility will respond to growing demand for functional power solutions.
“The growth of automotive power electronics and the higher growth rates for body electronics and emerging systems are driving the need for innovative functional power products, as well as expertise in system level understanding to optimise designs,” said Paul Leonard, vice president of Automotive Products. “Our new centre provides customers with technical experts who can help them select or develop the right solutions for their designs.”
