'Green' external power supplies target high volume applications

The VEH series consists of five power levels providing 20, 40, 60, 90 or 120W output, and catering for nominal output voltages from 12 to 48Vdc. The series is Energy Efficiency Level V rated and meets the requirements of global energy efficiency standards such as EISA2007, CEC2008 and the European ErP Directive for a no-load power consumption of less than 0.5 W. According to XP, the VEH20, VEH40 and VEH120 units achieve a no-load consumption of less than 0.3W. The VEH20, VEH40 and VEH60 are also approved as a Limited Power Source. All models meet the internationally recognised safety approval standards for IT and commercial equipment IEC/UL/EN/CSA 60950-1. The VEH60 series is also approved with China Compulsory Certification. All ranges meet EN55022 Class B limits for both conducted and radiated emissions. Class I construction is standard on all models, and Class II construction is available on the 20W model along with an IEC320-C8 input connector. The VEH20 and VEH60 are also available with an optional IEC320-C6 input connector.
