LED arrays set to replace 39W ceramic metal halide
The industry's first high density (HD) led arrays have been touted by Cree.
The new HD class CXA arrays are said to provide 'unrivalled' lumen density, enabling major reductions in system cost and power consumption.
First to be released in the series is the CXA1520, which is optimised to deliver the same intensity and light quality as 39Q ceramic metal halide at up to 50% lower power.
Also set for release is the HD Cree XLamp array, available in ANSI White and four step EasyWhite binning, which delivers up to 3478lumens at 33W.
