Linux based ARM9 system on module reduces power consumption by half
Artila Electronics has announced an industrial Linux based ARM9 system on module designed to increase system performance and reduce power consumption at the same time.
The M-502 is embedded with a 400MHz/MMU Atmel AT91SAM9G20 cpu which, according to Artila, cuts power consumption to at least half compared to the 180MHz Atmel AT91RM9200, which is embedded in the company's first generation of industrial system on modules.
