Based on the ARM Cortex-M3 core, the devices feature high performance analogue circuits and a range of basic functions required to support motor control and consumer and industrial device applications.
The family includes devices with packages ranging from 32 to 100pins, as well as flash memory sizes ranging from 32k to 128kbyte. All parts run at up to 40MHz.
Integrated features include a high precision 12bit A/D converter with a 1.5µs conversion speed and an 8bit D/A converter. The M3H group also features Toshiba’s programmable motor drive (PMD), said to be suitable for inverter motor control, AC motor and brushless DC motor control; and general purpose peripheral circuits, including UART, I 2C, TSPI and timers.
There are 30 products in the M3H MCU family and samples will be availble in May 2016.
