Maxim buys Edinburgh based a/d design company
Maxim Integrated Products has acquired Edinburgh based Calvatec, a specialist in integrated analogue mixed signal solutions.
The privately held company describes itself as a world leader in design methods and flows for analogue SoCs.
In the past four years, Maxim has completed six acquisitions, partnerships and undertaken what it describes as an 'aggressive distribution strategy' in a bid to service small and midsized companies.
